By using, downloading or accessing Novilang (“App,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility & Age Limit

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from minors under 13.

If you are under 13, please discontinue use and contact us for data removal.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App lawfully, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the App
  • Use the App to violate laws or rights of others
  • Deploy automated means to access or misuse the App

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, or misuse.

3. AI-Powered Features

The App includes AI-driven features (e.g., conversational chat). You acknowledge:

  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, offensive, or incomplete.
  • You are entirely responsible for how you act on AI outputs.
  • Reporting mechanisms exist to flag inappropriate AI content.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

  • Some features may require payment or a subscription.
  • Payments are processed via Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat.
  • We do not collect or store payment information.
  • Refunds and cancellations follow the platform’s policy.
  • Subscription terms (price, duration, auto-renewal) are clearly disclosed before purchase.

5. Advertisements & Monetization

  • Ads are provided through third-party networks (e.g., AdMob).
  • You may disable personalized ads via device or Google settings.
  • We do not serve personalized or interest-based ads to users under 13.
  • Clicking ads may lead to third-party sites; we are not liable for their content.

6. User Data & Privacy

  • We collect only minimal data: app progress, preferences, AI chat logs, and anonymous ad/analytics data.
  • We do not collect names, addresses, emails, or sensitive personal data.
  • AI chat logs may be processed by external providers under limited retention.
  • Our full data practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7. Export Compliance & Geographic Restrictions

  • You may not use the App in embargoed or sanctioned countries.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws.

8. Content Restrictions

You may not use the App to:

  • Create or disseminate illegal, harmful, libelous, or infringing content
  • Promote violence, hate, discrimination, or abuse
  • Facilitate gambling, financial scams, or unauthorized medical/financial advice
  • Use AI features to generate disallowed content

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and app access if:

  • You violate these Terms or policy obligations
  • You misuse or disrupt the App
  • We are required to do so under law or platform policy

You may discontinue use at any time and request deletion of your data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promises that it will always work without interruption or error. AI content is for informational purposes only, not guaranteed or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last six (6) months (if any)

12. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. New versions will appear in-app or on our website, with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use implies acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada (Province of Alberta). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
